into the cliffs of a desert wadi on the west bank of the Nile—directly across
from ancient Thebes (modern-day Luxor)—this sacred valley is the final resting
place of pharaohs and powerful nobles. Nestled within the Theban Necropolis, the Valley is home to
some of the most beautifully decorated tombs in Egypt, showcasing intricate
wall paintings and hieroglyphs that have survived thousands of years. Continue to the majestic funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After your tour, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo and onward to your final destination.
