statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funerary cult with Hellenistic and early imperial  Roman influences. Your next
stop will be The Roman Theatre, it was
built in the early Roman period and was used for theatrical performances and
other events. The exact construction date is unknown, but it is believed to
have been built around the 2nd or 3rd century AD. Your next stop will be the Hellenistic Necropolis in
the ancient eastern quarter of Alexandria , overlooking the
Mediterranean sea , lies the Chatby Necropolis
, which was accidentally rediscovered in 1893
